Description/ Job Summary
The Holdahl Company has been a family owned business since 1949 and is dedicated the serving the upper Midwest. We are an industry leader in the distribution of interior millwork products. At this time Holdahl is looking to fill an open position for a Specification Sales Representative in the South Dakota and North Dakota region. This person would be responsible for procuring specifications for the Holdahl Company in the commercial and residential design community. Activities included in this position are; building and maintaining relationships with the design community, product presentations and updating of marketing materials. This person should possess effective time management skills and a strong work ethic.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 Develop and maintain relationships with customers in the design and construction community
 Increase business volume in the territory
 Provide design, product and application information to customers
 Interact with sales representatives and mangers on a regular basis
 Participate in industry related associations
 Hands on placement and updating of marketing materials in your territory Knowledge, Skills and Experience
 Experience with marketing, sales and specification principles
 Basic construction knowledge
 Ability to communicate well in oral and written formats with customers
 Ability to sell products
 Ability to manage multiple priorities
 Ability to travel and accommodate overnight travel each month
 Ability to make professional public presentations to both large and small groups
 Must maintain a valid drives license and acceptable driving record
